Description

Just another old house full of memories and mysteries, the answers to each she holds tight with in her four walls not willing to give up her secrets easily. But the mysteries remain alluring; inviting use to dream and capture in time these wonderful old places; allowing our imagination to illustrate the stories of life lived with in the walls of these old homes. For those with drama and romance in your hearts the stories flow abundantly each one different but none less exciting if we just take the time to dream of times gone by. Playing around with grunge one more time. Thanks for your comment and views each one very much appreciated, have a great weekend.

Excellent work! I like the grunge with this image. Adds to the run-down, deserted atmosphere. Well done.

Very beautifully composed with a most captivating description and interpretation. It's so true, that these "historic" mysteries that remain are those of great curiosity and peak sheer interest to the eye of the beholder... Really wonderful colours and delicate, soft texture!

tofi has said it well. I haven't got grunge completely off my to-do list either. Am looking for the right picture for another go at it. Well done.

Very lovely shot and post work here. If only those walls could talk and tell the story of the laughter and the tears, the births, deaths, and touching family moments that once occurred here!

I always love pictures of old buildings, whether old and restored, or old and neglected like this. As you mentioned in your comments, I too also wonder about who lived there over the years, what they did, what happiness or tragedies took place within the walls. Love this one!
