He sits at the edge of the landing platform,patiently waiting,scanning the horizon for the familiar shape of the space cruiser.He has held this position for hours,his companion flotobot unable to budge him from his resolve.His friends will be back soon,he tells himself,and he will be awaiting their return,anxious to hear the tales of their travels. This image is for Keith(photostar),Peter(e-brink) and Kai(keymilan)...three friends whose works are a constant source of inspiration,and whose comments and crits I have appreciated these past two years.Keymilan has since left the galleries completely,and Peter is on hiatus.Keith,I am glad to see,is still with us in the galleries but I know he has said he will be gone soon for an undetermined period of time.I will hopefully still be here on their return! Figure is Hiro 3,with Anime Hair and Ranniel Surion outfit(all from Daz3D and posed in DazStudio)Skin mat is my own custom creation,incorporating some Photoshop brushes from Obsidian Dawn.Landing platform is created from Bryce prims and three shapes from Spacebones(as are the large cables).A custom lattice shape was created for the rail supports.All textures are customized Bryce presets.The smaller cables were created by combining a positive torus and a negative cube together.The flotobot was created with a combination of lattices and prims.Sky,lighting and atmo are custom,and the image was rendered in Premium setting with soft shadows.Only postwork is a contrast adjustment and signature.Thanks for viewing and any comments!
