Description

Hello, it was time for the family reunion today. I took 201 pictures and some of them even had people in them. I would rather catch people acting normal rather then posing. That's where Dave named me ninja photographer. They never knew I snapped a picture and when I show them they are like "Hey when did you do that?" I tried " catching the dragonflies" with my camera, with no luck. Then I decided to just go stand down there. After a while they had no problem with my presence. This is not cropped or even zoomed. I was this close. I have the rest of the pictures as I walked slowly up to it. It did fly away when I tried to go one more closer, but hey that's ok, I got this. Thank you all for all the wonderful comments on my last posts. I cherish each and everyone of them. Thank you for stopping by to take a look. By the way zoom on this is awesome. Gorgeous! I love the level of detail you captured, especially in the wings. One of my fondest summer memories is of a lake my parents took us to each year, and the huge dragonflies that cruised the skies. To this day they're my favorites, which is why my favorite drinking cup has a huge one on it, I suppose. Lovely photo, this one is such a beauty!
