Description

The International Space Station passed through the bowl of the Big Dipper, as seen from Priest Lake, Idaho, Friday night. Two 40-second exposures were taken to minimize star trail "smear", and were merged in Photoshop.

That is a very interesting picture. It took me a second to figure out what I was seeing. The long white line is the space station with a long film exposure. Nice work.

Very cool! You did a great job with this, I've always been tempted to try my own hand at star-gazing. Neat capture!
