Description

A lightning storm last night stayed to the west and north long enough to set up the tripod on the beach and get some photos. I should mention I was standing about 15 feet from a tree that had been hit by lightning two years ago and is dead as a doornail. Which goes to prove that lightning never strikes twice in the same place. :-) The lights on the shoreline are Elkins Resort. For those interested in the settings, I used a 12-24mm lens, f11, ISO320, bulb mode, aperature priority and manual focus.
