Description
This is a representation of a painting that I did sometime ago when I completed it the colour was not what I expected and so I have turned it to sepia, however I have now painted another one of the same but made slight changes to it and a more natural colour and will post it a little later!

That's great, Peter! The sepia suits the subject well, like one of those old paintings with too much brown varnish, a bit of serendipity there! I look forward to the colour version. I remember well making certain paintings too garish, something easily prevented if the subject matter is actually there in front of you. The imagination can overdo it!

The Sepia tone seems to work most perfectly here, complimenting and expressing the subject... a tremdous tone and feel to it.... really awesome texture that you've managed to recreate for display! Leaves it up to the imagination of the beholder as to sight of the overcast sky; and the carriage out in the distance! A terrific mood and atmosphere!
