Hi my name is Peter!
I was born November 7 1946 in Victoria Australia. I'm married and have been blessed with five beautiful daughters, I'm also a grandfather to 11 grandchildren. I have work most of my life in the metal industry welding, lathe operating, tool making, and toward the end had a change of career working with trains in the Victorian Railways, I have since retired. My main interests are Oil Painting, Drawing, and I like using programs such as Paintshop Pro which I have used since its conception, Photoshop 7, Bryce 5.5, Poser 6,Terragen,Silkypix. Also Computers have had a strong influence on me in the last 17 years. Also teaching computer skills to the locals in my community kept me busy for some time but being a very small community Iv'e now run out of people to teach. One other hobby of mine is the translation of many different languages into english, it's fun to know what other cultures are saying and also is very useful in Rederosity for giving and returning comments. Most of my time goes into Photography and learning as much as I can about my new camera which is the new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 18X Digital Camera. The Genre that I like the most is Macro so that is mostly what you will see in my Gallery.

Aww, imagine the fun someone had with this doll...always hated that part in Toy Story 2, the Jesse Doll gets tossed...lol I've got two dolls from my childhood...lol

interesting image! everywhere in the world the same mischief. Everything is disposed of senselessly in the forests......

Something very poignant about this--great shot!!

A crime scene!! In two respects.

It is a sad scene. I got one doll when I was a girl and I still have it. Todays children for the most part get way to many toys. Well that's my soapbox thought for today lol.
moochagoo
Yes a sad scene, but a quite "good" atmosphere !

Very real ....I hate it too when people don't discard or re-use items!

It makes me tear-up. My daughter and I still pick up stuffed animals and discarded dolls, and bring them home. We clean them, stitch them up and if they are missing arms or legs, we look for replacements when we can. In the end, we always find a new home for them or we keep the sadder ones for our own shelf. We once found a one-armed stuffed bear in a vaccum cleaner bag still hanging on the vaccum that was left by vacating tenants in an apartment complex we managed. One of our favorite rescues, it is still sitting on the shelf in the living room - one armed still.

Perfect for this disposible society!

sad to say we are a throw away society, a once loved doll thrown in a ditch without any regard for the country side or wildlife. Powerful image

Shows how uncaring people can be. One day a strong desire to own something with a short time passing the desire disappears to a forgotten memory. Disposable seems the strength of life for some. Sad photo and a good reminder.

This elicits such emotion. Great shot!
timtripp
powerful!
Pottaroo
The way it's little eyes are closed and the way it's hand is reaching out is very sad. Loss of love, loss of innocence, a whole bunch of stuff.
helanker
Oh yes, this looks very sad, that it will lie there so unwanted. But a very beautiful shot it is.
