Description

Thought it was time to get some use out of one of the many many dragons I own. This cute little guy is the Hammer Tail Dragon by Dinoraul over at DAZ. The character morph and texture are Daemora V4 A4 by Shaft73 (Rendo), and the outfit is Powerage's new Zhaetheria Legend (Rendo). The hair is mostly Zed Hair by AprilYSH (DAZ), however I added some fluffies around her face using CWRW The Elegant Equine Mane 'N Tail Pack 1 (Rendo). The crystals are from Antfarm's Point of Impact set (DAZ), and the rock that she's standing on is also an Antfarm product, Base Camp Vol.2, minus the base part (DAZ). Lighting is courtesy of Uberenvironment within DS3, plus three distance lights. One is a strong back light, a yellow color set at 200%. The other two are front lights, one set to a pale yellow at 50% with deep shadow maps set to 10% softness, and another at 25%, no shadows and set to a pale blue. In theory I used HSS on the female's skin and armor, but I have my doubts as to how much of it is actually working. Supposedly, HSS has some issues that they need to iron out, but the surface settings look very strange to me when I go to make adjustments, as in a lot of features appear to be missing, so I'm not sure that I'm even managing to get as much out of HSS at this point as I'm supposed to.

Fantastic Image !! I didn't like the results I was getting with HSS, so in my last render I used uber surface(on just the skin) and it seemed to work fairly well. :)
