Description

One late afternoon this past summer I saw this web. It was deep in the undergrowth of some huge shrubs. Needless to say, I just loved how the late afternoon sun painted the web and crawled in as far as I dared and shot off an obscene amount of images! This was the one I liked best! The architect and builder could unfortunately not be seen... (The way I feel about spiders, it is probably a good thing! *grin*) Thank you for popping in and for your very valued comments and favs on my Flowering Weed upload of yesterday! Stay well! Hugs, Carin xx

This is such a breath-taking and marvellous image Carin! Truly sensational, and I couldn't believe it until I admired this in full, even when I clicked on the thumb... So beautifully and most perfectly strung together in this delicate and romantic lighting..... you do have such a creative, expressive way of capturing images with such grace and appeal.... it's as though you seem to encapsulate the soft melody with the image.... wonderful, my Friend! Have a super Monday!

This is really a very very beautiful image! Perfect time, perfect angle.... but that is also about the nearest I would have go, just for incase the builder is bigger than his masterpiece....

OMG, what thick web strings those are, or is it the lighting that gives them such heft? Ultra stellar POV and contrast against the dark background in this superlative capture, Carin! And the arachnid architect/builder was probably lying in wait for any unsuspecting prey.
