Description

there are thousands and thousands of possible combinations in tangram and, as it is a very old 'game' you can never be sure someone else did not come up with something like you thought out. it does raise a very interesting and difficult problem for copyright :-)

this is a typical 'koosie', to me, it shows something of the world of a thinker, a deep thinker :)) like you are, koosie, until the beard grows longer and longer and one gets wiser and wiser with all the possibilities in there. hmmm, reminds me to a quote, all simple things are brillant :) have a good one, k, always a pleasure to stop by here :)))

it looks as if these are identical but the one on the left has its upper 2 gray pieces moved slightly higher than the one on the right. Otherwise, they seem identical. I'm familiar with the game to a degree; and I know you're allowed 7 pieces each (right? I count 7 here), and the permutations are numerous. I love that you call it "gossip" because gossip is nothing more than 'small talk', and this is kind of visual small talk, tiny variations on a theme. And there's a hint (maybe) of the left guy showing a little one-upsmanship over the right, with that little raised couplet (lol). Another simple but finely conceived piece, this one flat but with change in edge-thickness when an edge isn't met with another edge. (Little details are mountains to a designer!) Finely done and a lot of fun Koosie. You always infuse very subtle detail into the most seemingly simple designs. And your hues are well chosen too.
