Description
suzanne's egg is the basis for the metamorphosis theme in the 2d forum this month.
as i am cleaning up my computer for the big upgrade to come (motherboard, graphics card, processor and some small stuff) i am very busy backing up, cleaning out and arranging, so there is not much time to do anything else.
i printed the egg to think about the metamorphosis, but as it was lying around and there was a pencil near i started doodling.
maybe not a real metamorphosis, but i put it in the gallery anyway.
if i don't comment on everything, please remember i am stressed out getting my computer organised - next week will be the great upgrade (if all goes well)

Koosie, I'm so happy you posted this. I think it is fabulous, and so inviting. I can almost smell the food aroma's flying into the air through the vent. A great metamorphosis in my book.

Koosie, you know how much I love this type of image from you: You did it all with a minimum of strokes, but you got it all: just the right tone, just the right feel. You captured the bistro with the minimum number of gestures, you even got some shading in the window, some curtains upstairs, the arrow, the number, that wonderful little vent (you even drew the little rod that holds it up)...and it's pre-cheese-cutter modern, just a small "ma & pa" business (an American term lol), and it's delightful: a cartoon in the best sense of the word, and a tribute to the simplicity of a small place to eat, relax & have coffee. And it fits perfectly on Suzanne's beautiful & simple egg. This is a gem my friend: art that deserves the moniker, "just right". Nothin' more to say than that...
