Description

Hard time to ID this one, there are so many that look similar. But I think its a Brochymena. Found on my shrub after trimming it. STINK BUG: Pentatomids produce odors from thoracic glands for self-defense. (BugGuide.net) Thanks for looking. -Bruce

Ooh, I love stink bugs, I like to catch them, or at least I did as a kid. My mom wasn't too crazy about that habit, especially when various larvae would escape and find their way into parts of the house where insect larvae were not supposed to be. I love the details here, the stink-bug fuzz and colors. Wonderful work!
