Description

Guardians of the Woods were usually peaceful, serene beings. Unless, of course, someone crossed their boundaries unjustly or did harm to their protected woods....or, as was occasionally, but rarely happened, two Guardians crossed paths with each other. Appointed by High Rangers to patrol the woods and enchanted by the Patrons of the Wild to speak, heal and commune with all nature, they were recluses even from their own kind. Often felt, in presence, but rarely seen, save for by the creatures of the wild itself. Early on a cool Summer evening, two such Guardian's met and clashed. Polished antlers clashed amid the heavy forest silence. The ring of steel against steel chimed out and startled many a creature from their rest, though masked by magic that prying eyes and ears of their mortal kin would be ignorant of their battle...at least until an outcome was determined. Long into the evening and into the next dawn the two met their opponents blows in relative silence. Until, finally, when the antlers of their hoods were locked in what for bucks would have been a grim finality, and eyes met eyes in a kind of mutual understanding. He held her wrist tightly but with not nearly so much restraint as earlier and offered her a slight, if somewhat worn smile, and a slight shimmer of something akin to respect in his eyes, and very softly uttered a single word, "Stalemate." ~~~~ Yes, yes, another diversion, I know. I have another few images in mind with my current characters - Ianthia and Jakara, but DAZ and my computer aren't seeing eye to virtual eye on one issue -- shaders. It seems my system doesn't want to render them...so, until I get that little matter resolved....you get more distractions! So if two guardians clash in the forest and no one's around to see it, does it make a fight? DUCKS Had to do it! Excellent scene, my dear. Great action sequence, the posing really does make it seem like an intense fight. Well done!

You can keep the diversions coming as long as they are this quality and with a good story to boot. Don't know what the texture problem is but this one seems to have detail.
