Description

I have captured this image at the Walter Sisulu Botanical Garden here in Johannesburg back in the summer. It is really a stunning garden and this waterfall is natural and a huge attraction. They also, with much success, have a breeding program at the waterfall for a pair of Black Eagles. Black Eagles are, as far as know, on the endangered species list! You can see their droppings on the cliffs and if you know where to look, also their nest! On this day we did not spot the eagles though! I like sharpness in photos and this is sharp! This reminds me a bit of the falls in Yosemite National Park here. Well done.

I am awed by the massive rocks, shoved upward at such an angle and then to have this water cascade down the tilted split...well, jaw-dropping to say the least. Stellar stuff here! (BTW, a comment to Piet's comment...I like dung beetles...LOL)
