Wow, stellar from the word go in this macro of the dragonfly, sporting those magnificent head, body and wing textures, eagle! Terrific clarity, and contrast of the subject matter against the amorphous background.

What a great shot! Thank you for sharing these different critters with us, because with our koi pond in the backyard, it attracts a lot of different dragonflies, but we don't know what kind they are. we have a number of these little guys around.
