Description

This is my youngest son with our new puppy. They were running around in the back yard right before sunset. So, I grabbed my camera and took this photo from the other side of a fence (seen in foreground) while between the two trees that were almost in my way! It has been an incredibly busy summer trying to keep up with the "farm" work. I appreciate your visits and of course all the wonderful comments but will understand if you don't have time. Hope your summer is all you'd hoped for. Jodie Please visit my personal website...

the trees frame it horizontally, and the fences, vertically (with a nice patch of lights in the trees behind the upper fence)...but jodie, your middle is, to me, like an analog shot, it's got that soft quality, and I love the gentle light coming in & dappling the grass & Matthew & the dog—who is a bundle of joy and play. It's wonderful. I can't tell you how much I love your light, and how delicate it is. And that center section is both peaceful and playful to my eyes. One of these days I'll see your grounds (probably when there's 90 feet of snow all over them!), but seeing them in your pictures has been great, esp. since each shot is a new view and from here it looks as if your land must be hundreds of square miles large, because each shot has its own unique feeling. Another fav for sure. (I can't get words in my favs today, they're not showing up very well, so it'll be blank! But my comment says it for me!) Beautiful capture of your land, your son and your dog...

The golden streaks of light are very appealing, full of energy and fun. "All work and no play..." LOL

My, what a big yard you have. Stellar light and shadow effects in this snap of your son cavorting with his new puppy dog, Jodie! The surrounding tree foliage frames the pair wonderfully.
