Description

She was the red hat in a sea of brown, black and grey suits. I watched her struggle with her small suitcase a couple of times as she made her way up 11th Avenue all the way past Essex. Then she was gone. The rain started a little while later.

Great, moody piece. I like that the story is describing not what we are seeing, but what the character is observing. It adds to the nostalgic, reflective mood of the picture. Well done!
