Description
Last Saturday we went to Hesperia via the back road.. aka Hwy 138. There was blue everywhere. On the way home I coaxed my Husband to find a spot to pull over so I could snap some photos. I don't know what kind of flowers they are or even how to go about identifying them. Just thought they were pretty. I was wishing for different shoes (again). I am gonna have to start making sure I have walking shoes with me. So I did not venture too far from the car in sandals. Soft sand is not the only thing to worry about... there are critters.. ants, spiders, snakes, even coyotes. I digress... lol. This lovely bunch of flowers happened to be growing near the road side just for me.

Nice soft effects and vignetting in this off-the-road capture, Melinda! I see these plants all over the place but don't know their species. Really pretty blue flowers on these. And I go nowhere without good, lightweight, but sturdy, anticritter shoes.
