Description

I went to my Mom's the other day. She called to tell me that there were baby finches in her Pine Tree. I decided to try out my 55-250mm lens on the birds. I took A LOT of photos.. lol ... It wasn't easy to focus on those little birds either.. and he was on the 'feed bag' that was swaying and I had to wait for that little spot of sunlight! Of course, the one decent shot I get, happens to be of this scruffy looking fellow. But, I DID IT :) I got a photo of a bird! YAY. Thanks for looking! My previous upload, "Wild Blue". Of all the shots you attempted for the one prime magnificent capture, the best one happened to be of this raggedy urchin of the air, this runt of the litter, but it did come out quite well with nice soft colors, blends, focus and lighting, under less than ideal foto conditions, Bill.

Gorgeous shot. I love it when birds have bad feather days! I suspect these little guys were more active than this picture might imply, but your efforts paid off well.
