Hi there. Just a short one today too. This Painted Lady (Vanessa cardui) I catched with the cam in our garden. I think, she is a fine model for portrait-sessions. Have all a great weekend and don't forget to zoom in...

Excellent shot. The EXIF says the focal length for this shot was 60mm but what lens was this taken with and at what working distance were you. The shutter speed of 1/5000 also seems very fast. I ask because I am amazed at the detail and do not know how you achieved it. We essentially have the same camera and neither of my "kit" lens (18-55mm and 55-200mm) will do this. At least I don't think they will, lol. I am big time impressed. Lee
