My real name is Markus. I live in Germany in a little town between Chemnitz an Plauen - i don't think somebody knows ;-).
Last year I buy me a Nikon D40 and now I be able to take much more pictures as before. The macros I shared are all freehand-shots.

Excellent shot. The EXIF says the focal length for this shot was 60mm but what lens was this taken with and at what working distance were you. The shutter speed of 1/5000 also seems very fast. I ask because I am amazed at the detail and do not know how you achieved it. We essentially have the same camera and neither of my "kit" lens (18-55mm and 55-200mm) will do this. At least I don't think they will, lol. I am big time impressed. Lee
