Description

Hi there. Today a close-up of a larva of Inachis io I found about 14 days in the past in our garden. One pupa of that species was knotted on the wall of the house, about the garage door. We looked every morning and on Thursday the imago hatched. My little daughter was very happy to see how a new butterfly was "born". Must review the last week photos and then you will see some big creatures I found. Stay tuned and don't forget to zoom. Have all a great week.

For F11 the depth of field is pretty narrow- I am guessing that you are at the absolute minimum focal distance possible with the lens- its a good shot, but if you back off just a touch, possibly more of the subject can be in focus.
