Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Like it Marilyn! Like to hear the positive side of things showing up for you again. I have had these spontaneous writing experiences but none lately. I must be too busy fiddling with all these pictures. LOL.

The sun will be up tomorrow, so, you gotta hang in until tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow..... Even I, who has no talent for writing, appreciates those profound words of hopeful anguish, Missy Marilyn! Stellar macro of the lovely bloom!

wonderful affirmation, Marilyn, and I know how it can come on after the darkest days...you caught it right on, as always. And lol Ronnie! (Years back, after a big workshop on "being happy" [yep, it was really obnoxious, but we had to go as part of a project], I shot outa bed at 6 a.m., woke my girlfriend and one really pissed cat, and shouted: "I am outa sight!!!!" My girlfriend threw a pillow at me. and the cat swore in several languages. I went back to sleep, lol.) But that's not what you were talking about! You're talking about the real thing, from the solar plexus; and you brought it across exuberantly here. Wonderful poem, and the flower pic is really fine too. (You put wonderful photos with your writing.) Inspiring words, as always!
