Description

The second in this series - a few more from the caves to come yet, and then perhaps onto the Zig Zag railway. About this image: Jenolan Caves is a popular tourist attraction, near Oberon, NSW, Australia. They comprise an extensive network of underground limestone formations, believed to be the oldest in the world. Several of the caves are open to the public, with concreted paths and electric lighting. I've visited it many times since early childhood. This formation is known as the Statue of Liberty - as with the Bishop, it has formed naturally, over millions of years. Captured with an EOS 300D, with a Canon 90-300mm zoom lens.
