Description

Bwahahahahaha!!!! Pitiful humans! There is no escaping Satan’s Robot and his wildly flailing arms as he shuffles toward you at a blistering 1/2 mile per hour. Actually, I thought I’d try and do a 1930’s SCI-FI type scene so I started off with the Satan’s Robot, the star of several old B (C and D) movies / serials and resurrected recently in Star Trek Voyager. I also figured he would be a quick model to make as his basic shape is pretty basic and easy to make but adding all those rivets turned out to be a real pain in the a$@. Now I just have to make an appropriate setting for him to terrorize hapless heroines and to shuffle amok in. That's part 2. Modeled with Hexagon, Rendered with Carrara.

I've been reading several SF novels from the 1930's and 40's, some good, som bad - very bad. I recognise the figure of the evil robot in the very bade ones. Thin you made a very good portrait of it.

Excellent orginal work...I wish I could make figures like this...He reminds me of some of the robots up to the late 50's too...I hope you release him as a freebie in some form (doesn't have to pose to be useful)...A hundred stars from me if permitted...Do more please!...
