Not my usual stuff, of course :) but for me this is a milestone. Not that it is an "aviation" picture, but the fact that IT IS MY FIRST TRY AT UV-MAPPING a model from scratch. The B-29 model itself is an untextured freebie from the I.N.R.I.A. database. Much more could and will be done, but I just had to make a scene with it, being quite pleased with this first attempt (which included making a separate reflection-map, and the propeller-blur alphaplane in PS (the yellow propeller-tips are almost invisible, but they are there)). ****** Some of you may think it's low-level, making something out of being able to UV-map a texture, but for me it's huge. I've had the freeware "UV-mapper" for several years, opened it a few times, just looking a little, going "????" But now I spent more than 5 minutes looking at the options, and downloaded the latest version. Took a look at the galleries and the tutorials. After some 15 minutes of trial-and-error, exporting some maps and mapped objects, I finally got it - and it's easy! For me, who really likes making/editing textures in Photoshop this is SO big.
