Description

Reworked render of an old image - I just wanted to see it with SSS (no, that's not the sound the python makes *G*) and radiosity. The old one from 2006 (with Vue 5 Inf.) can be viewed here

The difference is not all that great, but this new one is a little better IMHO. PLEASE NOTE that it's only the snake and the branch that are objects. The background is an alphaplane, a photo found on the web. But there would be no reason to build an elaborate 3D background only to be blurred out :) Vue 7 Complete render, "User Settings" with Hybrid2.5D DOF. Branch made in Onyxtree. Brilliant python model from DAZ. - I know many of you probably don't like snakes, hope you like the picture anyway :) Comments etc. very much appreciated. Have a nice day - Lars

Superb job! I thought the whole thing was a photo at first. The pose of the snake and the lighting is excellent - matches the photo background lighting pretty well.

Incredibly realistic. Personally I think it would improve with some more light on the head of the snake, perhaps more indirect light from the earth to give greater visibility and volume. Congratulations. I love this job.
