Description

An adventurous cloud wanted to explore the sea underneath, it didnt realize it will tear a hole in the social fabric of the cloud layer. Is the lone cloud red because it is so excited about his adventure or is it embarrassed and ashamed about the damage done to his community? And is there a green'ish tinge to the other clouds? are they a bit envious? This simple image was created to demonstrate the use of the function editor to create single clouds and holes in clouds. Great image. I like the plucky little cloud. I'm not sure that I would have parsed the sea as actual water -- the wave forms are right, but the texture seems a little fine-grained. Great use of "god rays" through the gap in the clouds.

I love this efect! And for me the cloud is red because she is in joy to find a way to unify two different dimensions...:))))i love this sea!

Great effect indeed. Very clever demonstration of the method. The foam looks strange, IMO,

i've decided to finally get back to commenting, at least some. i found this very interesting when i first saw it. the concept is very particular to you, but i'm not sure if i can express why. i think it has to do with giving elements of the environment a purpose and personality. i loe the contrasting colors. but mostly, i appreciate how you made an artistic exercise your own.
