Description

This conversation follows on from my previous image, Curiosity. (Comments were switched off for several weeks after I posted it). ------- Hello! So you're back at last. You've been gone a long time. "Yes. I got lost. The bus fare you gave me ran out at Oostende. Thank you for worrying about me. Thank you for calling International Rescue to come and find me." I didn't call International Rescue. "I know you didn't." I suppose I should have done, sorry. "You nincompoop, they're not real. They're puppets. Without their strings they would just be little unlit bonfires." Oh, a bit like you without your dials being a scarecrow? "Dials? What dials? Scarecrow?" Never mind. Anyway, where did you get lost? "I don't know. I was lost at the time." Okay, where were you when you became unlost again? "Amsterdam". AMSTERDAM? What were you doing in Amsterdam? You were supposed to go to Germany, not Holland! "What's the difference?" Well, Germany is where Doro is, and Holland is where Doro isn't. The kiss, the tickle, the giggle... remember? "No. Who is Doro?" Um....
