Description

Faithful love Folklore has it that cranes pair for life, and so they have come to represent lifelong fidelity. But we humans are cleverer than cranes: we can justify the convenient, and foreshorten life by means of a greater corruption than death. ------------- With special thanks to Rie Hara for the kanji. Rie Hara is a lovely Japanese lady who runs her own English website, teaching Japanese writing and symbols, culture, and food. She is qualified in Japanese calligraphy. Edit: I removed the hyperlink to Rie's web site as it is no longer there. *sad*
