Description

Independence of food production is the only viable way a colony could survive on Mars, and so the establishment of pressurised greenhouses would be a priority. Provision of protein without keeping animals is problematic, and so crops would reflect the need to substitute vegetable options, in this case dwarf, high-yield, bean plants.
