Description

This is the sound side of Santa Rosa Island somewhere in between Navarre Beach and Pensacola Beach. Taken about 2 weeks ago. That's Julia out there, my partner in crime, with me as always. What a splendid place to be and what a wonderful day it was. The road between Pensacola Beach and Navarre Beach was just opened a few weeks ago following the destruction from Hurricane Ivan way back in September 2004. Yes, it took 5 years. Ivan was a bad whammer-jammer. This is the 3rd post from our trip to Santa Rosa Island.

The ocean bottom here is so amazingly clean and clear. The ripples you captured are both surface and sand. What a great shot with depth and openness.
