Description

I love the Wisconsin Dells. There are so many cool rock formations to see. I took this one by Witches Gulch. I thought this looked most interesting and colorful. With all the mosses, ferns, and the red plant that I have no idea what those are. But the small trees starting to grow out of this rock formation I thought was cool too. Thank you for looking. Thank you for the comments on my previous posts, You are all awesome, totally. Have a great evening, Peace, Cheri

I have expect one of my cousins to crawl out of the crevice... you'd have to understand my "unique" family to know what I mean ... prehistoric is definitely what it feels like. Excellent shot.

Stellar lighting, textures and striated effects in this image of what easily could be hidden nests for menacing pterodactyls, Cheri! You know, those large flying leather-winged dinosaur creatures that pick up people and fly away with them. King Kong made short work of those birdies.

Wow! Nice photo - and I believe I've mentioned how much of a sucker I am for rock formations. 5 Stars, definitely! I would love to see more of this area.

I've said before, that I find it hard to believe that more movies haven't been filmed here. The entire area has such a prehistoric feel to it, it is so cool!!! As one is walking down the trails and pathways, one would almost expect to see some throw back to a forgotten age suddenly appear, terrorizing those now seen as food. Fuzzy or not, this is a great pic! Cheri needs to remember that a lot of the cool spots for getting a shot were not lit well, with any natural sunlight, and having the flash go off only works well when taking a close up. Most of the shots we got here were from distances ranging from fifty to two hundred feet away. I don't think there is a camera out there that can illuminate that much space. This is a great post sweetie, and such a primeval look to it!

Beautiful work yet again! Lovely range of textures in this, and the colours are amazing. Its truly impressive to see just how much beauty there is in the small details of a natural environment. Most of us tend to miss it, as we view the whole scene rather than looking so closely.
