Description
I thought I would give you a break from the cats today and upload this cute little yellow finch girl that I also photographed on Saturday on my outing while we were having lunch! There was quite a cold wind blowing and she was all poofed up against the wind and hanging on for dear life onto this branch. Her eyes however were scouting for any crumb or other piece of food that someone might drop.
For the cat lovers out there - I have many more to come!!! LOL....

I love finches. All of ours have left because of the heat. But in the spring we have hundreds of them at our feeders. Great shot of this little guy clinging to the branch.

He is gorgeous! My first marriage I was given two finches for a wedding gift, named them Pete and Penny...Penny apparently wasn't happy with Pete because I awoke to find him pecked to death one morning...hmmm, an omen for my marriage maybe that broke up after 3 years:-) I hope this baby finds the perfect mate!
