Description
On the one day that my mom and I were taking pictures of the deer, We were both being buzzed by a hummingbird. And I promised you all a shot or two of the bird. Here is one of the many pictures I was able to get of this flying jewel.
As anyone who has ever tried getting a shot of a hummingbird in flight, it is no easy task and most of the time, you are lucky to get a blur or nothing at all. Now I do have some where the little bird is perched on the feeder and I may post it as well later on.
As to the tag game, the one reason I haven't gone on with the game is that there is a new player in town, Seaview123, (Tom) who wishes to play with us. So now I've another person whose gallery I must trample through to decide who will suffer the horrible mark ups.

I figure I'm lucky just to see one every five years or so and I've only managed one shot that was just pure luck because I never saw him until I had released the shutter. So this is okay!

as i am surrounded mostly by concrete i always appreciate taking a peek at a shot or two in the galleries of nice deer,birds and so. you had quite a few aquaintances this week,the deer the butterfly and now the hummingbird. well done.

I have hundreds of pics of hummingbirds, and maybe 10 to 12 that don't have much blurr on them! It is very hard, like you said, to get a clean good shot of the little hummers! This is a very good shot though! She looks as if she has her little head tilted, as to say, "Come on, hurry, take the shot"! Great shot Mike!

You know my friend. I believe well that the birds feel to it not mischievousness of a person. If not pouff it was already there . Beautiful catch and mile mercies.
