Description

Mike (mikeerson) commented on my last upload, Flying Jewel, that it was blurry. well when the bird is flying at you as you take the picture, it's gonna be just a tad blurred. However, I do have a couple of 'sharp' photos of the hummingbird. Of course, she was resting on the perch of the feeder which was only 3 feet away from me. So here it is, cropped, due to the size of the image and touched up with the contrast to bring out the details. I hope that everyone has a great weekend and thanks for the comments and faves Mike

That's a great shot Mike, the humming bird feeders I've always seen, the bird has to keep flapping - I really don't think i've seen a humming bird at rest, this is cool... on the other hand, what is that frog doing in the background??? LOL... did you teach him that??? LOL

I had to laugh at the above comment.. I agree I haven't seen many hummingbirds just chilling out lol and he seems to be thinking or wondering about the figuring behind him LOL love it :)

Its hard to catch these guys on the perch or setting of a lamb, I have tons of blurred shots. It's just a matter of timing and they're not a patient model LOL. Excellent capture of this guy, well done!!!
