Description

Created with Mojo Pro & Volumetrics plugin. I wanted to have a try at creating Volumetric fire by using a Vol Cloud & adding it ino a terrain to either convey fire breaking through the surfec of a planet of simply a planets surface that is so hot..its on fire. This is the result of my first attempt at the creation...but somethings not right :( I`ll probably have a few more of these to follow. I set the AA2 at 2 which is pretty low...but I wnated to see the results quickly. So I thought Id share what was created. The name comes from "One spark"...which is all it takes on a magnesium rich planet :) Postwork for framing & text only in Photoimpact11. TFV&C Wºz™ Strong crits welcomed.

Wild result, especially the atmosphere FX, surface effect is good, maybe a wider camera angel to get more terrain features, excellent can't wait to see more. Peace

It's really great but definitely needs a higher quality render. I expect you'll be doing some more with it anyway.

Looks great but needs more 'support' from below - try Visibility Distance derived from Altitude to make the lower part thicker. Maybe add an Ocean of molten rock, below. Inspired work!

Interesting original idea, I'd be tempted to try an Ice moon for a fire-n-ice theme? might work, but then again.....

Cool concept Woz!....The color/texture of the terrain looks perfect....and the rising heat effect looks superb!....I sgree that the addition of some kinda Lava flow would pull this together....Excellent work man!!
