Description

I was messing around with the camera, trying to get an image in which I will upload later on in the week. Anyways, I noticed that even though I had the water running rather quickly, as I photographed it, it came out as droplets. To my eyes, it looked like a smooth stream, but to the camera, which captures a single moment in time, it truely showed me what the water looked like as it fell. Sometimes, it is much better to see with ones own eyes, and sometimes, one can only see what is captured on film. Ah, the wonderful world of perspective. The poem isn't very great, at least not to me. I haven't written anything in quite a while, and one must be in the proper mood to produce great works. I do, however, hope that you like it anyways. Yet again, I am experimenting. drip. the slow, agonizing, wavering, timing. drop. molecules forming, shapeless dance. Drip. Time Slowing, Moments Hesitating. Drop. The Stress Builds, Hearing Increases. DRIP. INSANITY CONSUMES. PATIENCE VANISHES. DROP. YOUR MIND RACES. EVERYTHING STOPS. silence Cheers, Jess P.S. Pleas forgive me for any misspellings, as I said in my last post, my computer is having issues, and I seem to be too lazy tonight to open up a word document to spell check.

fine photograph with fine detail, and your poem was true to the subject. (It reminded me a bit of Poe, until you reached silence: Then it became very zen-like. The dripping becomes a mantra into silence...) Glad to see you here again, hope you can stop by more often. With a dial-up, it's hard, I know: Hope your cable people get it together soon! The lighting in your sink is really good too...
