THANK YOU TO JEAN-LUC AJRARN FOR THE GIFT OF "NAGA HEADS". IT'S AWESOME!!! "Sgt. Vasquez, everybody at the mess hall in 20 minutes. We must evacuate all the ranches within 24 hours. Dropships, Vanguards, and APCs ready within 60 minutes. The Skorpios, too. Form 6 squads. Eve, you must find me other 4 interpreters. Pvt. Brychek will accompany you to the Martian town. Warn them to prepare themselves to shelter the refugees. You've 1 hour". Once alone in his office, JS prepared his report and sent it to GOD, who called back immediately. "The President summoned me." She told him. "The Rogue ambassador demands our apologies for the attack of our fighters. I saw your report. Give me details". JS told her the facts. "I'll show the President the proofs of the Rogue trick, but remember that the hardest battles are fought here on the Earth". She warned. "In fact, ETHIC has just started a turf war, and the President has ordered the fleet NOT to intervene in any case. Our official policy is that the Earthener Alliance must NOT be involved". JS ventured a request: "Ma'm, we need some eyes into the outer space. Can someone under cover be sent to the astrodocks to warn us of Rogue moves? The fleet won't be involved". "Some suggestion?" GOD asked. "Corporal Vlasav. He's Regiment". "Granted", and GOD cut off. Before going to the mess hall, JS dropped a message to a friend who worked at the Stellar Studies Center (SSC): "All you know on Alpha Crotalus ASAP". The people at the mess hall were ready, even Eve and the interpreters. They all wanted to take revenge for their dead relatives, comrades and friends. "Revenge is a cold plate." JS told them. "Our turn will come. But now we must evacuate all the ranches tomorrow, within 12.00h or before. The RATs will attack at noon. They believe that the midday sun makes one of the four souls to evaporate. The evil one. And it shows the souls' path to the Great Sun. That's why they generally attack at noon. We'll form 6 squads. We won't stop until we have everybody and all evacuated. Questions?" Eve's family ranch was among the first to be evacuated. While an APC collected all the farmhands at their shelters, Eve's mother asked JS to come in. "I want you to accept this gift from us all. For what you're doing for us," she said. And took a bundle from a big box and gave it to him. JS unwrapped it, and was surprised to see a very, very old object. The artefact was made of an unknown, strange alloy. It was a face haloed with ruby-eyed snakes. "OMG, cried Eve. "It's Naga's Face, isn't it?" "Yes," her mum confirmed. "Naga's Face comes from the Original World, and it's been handed down for some million years. She's The First Queen". JS had the impression that the face stared at him, and for some instants the snakes looked as if dancing. "Unbelievable! These light tricks... almost hypnotic... for a moment I saw the serpents dancing!" JS smiled turning to the women. Eve and her mum gazed at him dumbfounded. "She's felt you," Eve whispered, "even if..." "Naga's spoken!" murmured her mum. "Ehi! Don't you want me to believe that they really moved, do you?" JS asked hesitatingly. First, this is a must zoome - to see all the details in this. Wonderful composition and vibrant colors. Great story. Love the setting - recognized Walls Abound immediately. (Such a great set!) Great characters too. Have to say that I like the outfit for the lady on the left. Very nice. I like how you used the Naga mask in your story.
