I remember the woods
Being right outside our back door
Smokey and I
Would head out for a adventure
He always ran way ahead
Chasing everything
It was warm
That wonderful kind of warm
Where you know
Everything is alright
Love birds chasing each other in the trees
Both knowing there is going to be a happy ending
And me
I am dreaming of my new girlfriend
That would be any girl who smiled at me
In my field of dreams
I am the king
And everyone loves me
But ole Smokey is gone now
And the woods are rows and rows of houses
But when the mood is just right
And I am all alone
I can close my eyes
Pat ole Smokey on the head
And hear my mother off in the distance
Randy it’s time to eat

This takes me back. We had woods to but my best friend was named Blackie, a cocker-terrier mix. We could hear crikets at night and in the summer there were fire flys. Today I live in a city suburb and can't remember the last time I saw a butterfly. Thanks for the memories Randy.

The title got to me at first...because in my documents Larry has a title called Field of Dreams....so I went to look at it and it said it was the title of a movie and Larry has a picture of his best friend standing in a meadow and he named the document that.....we will never run out of memories
