Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

My wother tell me that when I was child she use to follow the gigantic drawings on the sand to find me, she said that sometimes my drawings cover long distances as 10 km, and when she passed by people they say, Is on this way, he was here an hour ago... It remind me that age of dream and freeminded creation!

pretty loopy is a great way to describe it. The shot's amazing...and I think, this is another thing you do: You take normal everyday scenes (well for someone living on the ocean), but you zero in on what appears to be normal little tracks, but capture them as treks on the moon! If day to day appearances have a special hue or texture or quality to render up, you'll find it. It's really lunar and out of this world. The hues are beautiful, and the recession into the abyss is great. And the humor is in you & your dog criss-crossing each other. Wonderful. Great shot first thing in my morning!
