I think this is Canada Goldenrod "Solidago canadenis". This native flower is often blamed for Hayfever attacks, but in fact the pollen is too heavy to travel on the wind and is carried by insects.

Classic shot! A bumble bee happily doing his thing! There are so many different kinds of bumble bees, but even after looking at a comprehensive chart, I cannot find this one. Perhaps a bit rare?
