~~Hello Tim!!:O))
Well,I did it for you,and I hope you like it… :O)) but, you already know how I do these things, so, you may smile and think:
LOL! She is “giving me flowers”… it make part of her “mess”…
BUT: NO SIR!! And...YES SIR!!:O))
And now a bit of this story:
The first time I met Tim, he came fortunately for me, to my gallery and he said this:
“Nice, clean gestural work. Well done. Personally I hated life drawing class, my wife loved it, especially if it was a old or fat person, gave her more to do! Well done. ~Tim”
............................
So…i put an eye on him, on his gallery and on his comments to others too, and in the same moment I said to myself:
WOW!!!!I´ve got to email him; I am a ”freshman” at art, so I´ll try to ask him to help me!
Annnd I DID!!… Annnd he DID!! And this story of “learning” begun just like this... :O))
And if I don't “know” Tim...I also think I do!
I always try to be “up-to-date” with the things that he is doing and I also imagine him teaching!I see him among the “bunch” telling about new challenges, with caring and humorous words , that are always a help to let us see things better: few words, great attention, with real and wonderful heart-feeling !!!
This is what I feel and think about TIM!
And all this… is what he always has been for me: always present, with incentive-giving words, his always honest opinion,and his sense of humor too!
Tim is a great artist, but the most important for me: He is a great heart, a great person, and a wonderful friend!!
About his art...well,I always“open my eyes and feel astonished”and I say:”Good! There he is again!!and what did he come with today??!!LOL!"
Things never are what they seem… and the most I can do is try to tell him what i feel.

Ah, shucks. [hope that translates; american idiom LOL]. Well Ana there is no way I can comment on all that, you're to kind by a bunch. I love the picture - it's your style at it's best - clear, creative, abstracted and very tight design. I've been meaning to tell you this for about a week but it's been hectic for me, with much focusing on this weekend, so apologize for not being around much and not telling you this bit: after looking for quite some time at your figures and the special way you do what you do, I found myself reflecting on the use of the figure in art, my art, and how I tended not to work with it directly but often submerging it in textures and marks. So, I ran into this woman who teaches art for the group I will be teaching with/for this winter, and found out she's got a 10 week class in clay figure sculpture from live models beginning next month, and as you, Ana, have entered my head with your art I signed up for the class. I may suck at it, or not LOL, but it was because you have changed my perceptions - more than likely more than I've helped you. Cheers and thanks so very much - your buddy Tim

Ana! This is a wonderful dedication! And for one of our very best artists! You captured what Tim does for many people here: His comments & support are always extremely helpful, he always sees essences, there's always humor & care & understanding for the artist & their work, he always encourages beginners, and he gives encouragement to old-timers too (lol) who are having bad weeks or bad months—and he keeps up with them too, to see how they're doing! Everything you said is just what he does. I'm so glad you two have been friends. Your friendship shows here! And his art is some of our best. There's no other way to say it. Your dedi is perfect. And as fo your image: Here's what I see: Many souls are gathered & reaching for the top. And on top, someone seems to be looking down: Tim, I assume. They're all getting "Ideas" from him—they're getting spiritual & artistic food from him. But they're all together, there's a "bond": They're all together, sharing the experience as a 'family'! That's how I see this. And it's a great image for Tim who, after all, taught art for many years, and understands how artists struggle & grow. It's a big pulsing image, with your usual intense line, your wonderfully strong whites (big & bold) and your usual deep passion. You're not "freshman" by any means—and now that I've read Tim's comments, I see that he has been inspired by you too! (Bravo! you've inspired each other! I sure have been inspired by you both, as if I could do half of what you two do! As we say in America, "as ifffffff!") You're one of our best too. It's a terrific image, a perfect dedication, and wonderful vision of your friend. So, from one of Tim's and your greatest fans: Obrigada! Thank you. It's a lovely upload in every way.
