*maré* is my dog.My wonderful friend always looking at me...and she open her mouth and smile a lot:O))can you belive this?? But she does!!
So,while she was sleeping i used her as my model:O))) and i hope you like it!!

OHH Ana ! These are so very lovely drawings. SO elegant and mighty talented. I just love your drawings. You must have oceans of little gorgeous drawings like that. I sure wouls love to see them. Yes my little doggie is smiling too. I know another dog who shows all his teeth when he is smiling LOL! He learned something from us :)

What a beautiful sketch, Ana. Mare really does look very relaxed as you caught her sleeping. I know what you mean by smiling dog. lol. Great job!

You have real immediacy & 'rush' (correr/correria) in your pastel-strokes, it's as if you drew maré with the wind! I just love your lines here—their freedom and sweep are terrific. And, with so few strokes, you captured so much of maré's detail: You captured maré's details with simple lines & the most beautiful shading & "energy lines"...and you left the rest open. Lots of open space... Very loving drawings, Ana, completely dog-like, I think she's smiling in the second drawing (!) and these are some of the best dog drawings I've seen. Rembrandt's lions (remember those, lol?) use the same techniques! You did a beautiful job. I love these. (I love how you give just "sections" of maré, you've captured all of her by giving us mere 'sections'.) You have to know, your drawings are really terrific.
