Description

Here is one last shot of a pair of Common Green Darners as they stay in tandem while egg laying. I have seen this activity countless times this year. Usually they are just out of reach of my 200mm but occasionally they get close enough to get a shot or two. Fortunately, they actually stop and take their time when egg laying. Some species don't even slow down while doing this, lol. Tomorr0w I will start a short series of reptile images. Thanks to those who take the time to comment. Lee

Nice shot. BTW, if you don't know this already, using an extension ring on a long focal length optic (between the camera body and the optic) gives you macro shoot capability with a great distance between you and the subject. Your 200mm is a perfect candidate for this.
