Description


This was taken on a day when the temperature was pushing 100F. This Skink would move a few inches then stop and lift his feet off the wood. He would stay in this position for a moment or so then move a few more inches and repeat the process. I am sure this behavior is a means of avoiding the hot surface of the wood as much as possible. I was sitting in some shade and could keep my feet on the ground, lol. Thanks to those who take the time to comment. Lee
