I work a good one and a half year with fractal programs now (just love Ultra Fractal & Apophysis), and I guess some two and a half years with manipulation proggys. Guess what....I still love it extremely!!! My wife Brigitte also showes her work here on rendo, and you will please me if you would visit her gallery too. She goes by the name of 'nowee'. A short time ago I was also added to the community of artistrising.com and because not everything I create ends up here on rendo here's the link to that portfolio: http://www.artistrising.com/galleries/fractalgazpachotoo as I have a portfolio on imagekind too: http://ThomWithoos.imagekind.com And of course you may allways visit my own homepage of wich the link is below every image ;o) Later on I got more and more involved in photography so slowly my gallery is changing it's looks.

I love this, great image. I can see why you would go back for another shot. Next time around you could try one with the mill reflected in the water. I can tell you if I lived neer this spot, I would be taking a lot of weekend picnics. There's a realy nice old mill similar to this one, only in white stuckel, about 200 miles east of omaha ware I live, but sadly the town has built up around the thing and so its just not all that inspiring. I wish people would start building new power generating wind mills that look like these old mills. I personaly don't have a problem with the new pole and blade power wind mills but many do. I don't think too many would have a problem with these kind of mills running along rural roads as they are so atractive.

I think it's your post-work that makes the skies in your photos so gorgeous .. either that or the skies over Holland are the most beautiful in the world! Wonderful capture of the windmill, and the skies ...
