Description
Yesterday I went the largest amusementpark in the Netherlands with my family (don't be affraid I wil not bore you with my family pictures ;-)). And this beautiful brugmansia plant couldn't be resisted with a camera hangin' on my tummy. Strange thing such a strong hallucinogenic plant is largely available in an amusement park that is flooded with little children, but luckily it is not very attractive to children to grab it with their hands or put it in their mouths like , for instance, datura stramonium is with it's strange thorned apples. Still it is a beautiful plant with large trumpet like flowers in large amounts.

A lot of people don't realize how dangerous these plants can be, but you would think someone hired to do an amusement park would know enough to not put 'em within reach of children! A gorgeous shot, none-the-less. Nicely done!

Interesting how some of the most beautiful flowers and plants are toxic. This is a wonderful shot. Like auntiek, I wonder why such plants are even places in amusement parks where children can so easily get at them
