Description
Old Friends...sat on their park bench like bookends.
As a college student I never had any money (hell, I STILL don't have any) so my spare time was spent in activities that were free like people watching in the park.

In the Autumn of their years - spinning a yarn of the good ol' days - or so it seems ... one to tells the story and the other is willing to listen ! What a fantastic capture at the right moment in time, no special effects just a steady hand, BB

a very sweet capture of two old friends enjoying themselves and the sun. I really like the intense light, it gives this an air of being 'blessed', by something further away. It has detail---we can see the herringbone in the right man's coat and hat---but softness. And well cropped too. (Did you do your own developing? I know it was expensive to have one's own darkroom...maybe you had one with other photographers. I just remember the photographers I knew, being so frustrated that they had to give their work to people who didn't really know photography---ie, the developing studios. I hope you weren't plagued with that. The finished pieces seem very sensitive.) A fine piece of street shooting. I"m glad Andrea saw these: With her people shots, she'd have to appreciate your early work.
