My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Tender Tara, heartfelt words, one never knows what to say in these situations, except know there are real friends here, I have never been a bear of a guy, quite the opporsite, but those shoulders have been cried on many times.

This is so beautiful and moving.

Poignant words, more familiar than I care to think about at times. I love the Haiku form; it tells a story in such a short, intense way.

Lost loves are still warm memories to cherish. Beautifully expressed here. Have never tried the Haiku form...appears challenging but worthwhile things don't come easy.

But we are lucky, us who still have the Sweet memories in our mind. Beautiful poem Taea.

yep, hard to stop (lol), but the flow is strong & your images & rhythms are strong too. It's so strange to see a lament from you: Even when you write of devastating events, you have resolve & light in your words. This is an unrequited vision, and it's almost fun to see it coming from you!
