Description

This is one of my favorite views on earth -- Mt. Sneffels and the peaks that flank it, taken from the Rim of Black Canyon and looking south across the valley where Montrose, Colorado is situated. The peak is about 35 miles away from where I was standing amidst sub-alpine verdure and fauna. A bit hazy but still a beautiful view.

It looks beautiful, but I would suggest shooting with a bit more of an opening (less trees) to show off the valley below. It must be incredible in the fall. Have a nice weekend.
